Recommendation table for fees Support Acts based on room capacity
Practice instruments are developed by the chain table, possibly with the help of external research agencies. A practice tool can take the form of a good example, a framework of terms (with definitions), a manual, a fee guideline or a proposal for (collective) agreements.
The rates in this table represent a recommendation for fees to support acts based on room capacity. The graduated scale was developed by a working group within the Fair Pop chain table, partly as a result of the Fair Pop Pilot 2024. The chain table advises the sector to apply this scale in 2026 after which evaluation and possible adjustment will follow. Booking agency and festival organizer Friendly Fire will apply this new graduated scale as of January 1, 2026 and invites the sector to follow suit in order to set a new and more appropriate standard for fees for supporting acts.
