Why fair pay is important
Fair pay means: appropriate compensation. Those who are appropriately compensated for their work can make a good living while simultaneously building something for the future. That is the fundamental idea behind fair pay.
In the cultural and creative sector, fair pay, remains a challenge for various reasons. Fees are relatively low, and working conditions do not provide the security that is needed. Professionals often receive temporary contracts, accrue less pension, and are not optimally insured against disability.
If we want to make the sector resilient, this must change. Fair pay forms the foundation of a healthy labor market. Because those who are appropriately compensated feel valued, have more confidence in the future, and can better develop themselves.
FairPACCT is therefore committed to fair pay. The program develops concrete guidelines and tools that workers, employers, clients, and policymakers can use to sustainably improve the income and negotiating position of workers in the cultural and creative sector.
Fair pay, nothing less than normal.
Spread the word! The more people support fair pay, the greater the impact. In this promo kit, you will find posters, flyers, social posts, and texts that you can use to spread the message. Because you are participating too, right?
