Summer consultation on fair pay practical instruments expanded: now featuring proposals from 3 chain tables!

On Monday, July 22, the summer consultation began regarding fair pay practical instruments from the Jazz/World/Contemporary Composers & Musicians chain table and the Culture Marketing and Communication chain table. This summer consultation is now being expanded with two proposals for fair pay practical instruments from the Archaeology chain table! These concern a Job Framework and a memorandum on Safety and Working Conditions in Archaeology.

Would you like to share your opinion on the proposals for new practical instruments aimed at fair payment in the cultural and creative sector before they are finalized? Then make your voice heard via the submission form! For the proposals from the Culture Marketing and Communication chain table and the Jazz/World/Contemporary Composers & Musicians chain table, please do so preferably before Monday, September 16. For the proposals from the Archaeology chain table, please do so preferably before Tuesday, October 1. Together with the chain tables, we will provide feedback before November 1 next.

Fair pay chain table proposals with job classification system and safety note for archaeological practice: respond now!

The Archaeology chain table hereby presents two new fair pay proposals. The first proposal concerns a job framework containing 16 reference positions, including profiles, valuations, and salary scales, based on the Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) for Municipalities, the Museum CAO, and the CAO Netherlands. The second proposal concerns a memorandum on Safety and Working Conditions in Archaeology. This clarifies the current state of safety and working conditions for archaeologists in the field. This memorandum specifically addresses physical safety and working conditions within the archaeology sector.

Fair pay chain table proposal with freelance rates for five roles of professionals in culture marketing and communication: respond now!

The Culture Marketing and Communication (MarCom) chain table presented a new fair pay proposal on July 22 at the start of the summer consultation. The proposal concerns a so-called MarCom Framework, created by Bureau STYR in collaboration with the chain table. It distinguishes five roles for Culture MarCom professionals who can function within certain valuation groups and at specific levels. Freelance rates are linked to these levels, derived from the General Market Netherlands and adjusted with a 15% reduction for the Dutch cultural sector.

Fair pay chain table proposal with freelance rates for jazz/world/contemporary composers and musicians: respond now!

The Jazz/World/Contemporary Composers and Musicians chain table presented a new fair pay proposal on July 22 at the start of the summer consultation. The proposal concerns rates for concerts by musicians and composition commissions by composers, created by Bureau KNYFE in collaboration with the chain table. For musicians, four career stages are distinguished based on weighting factors, each with its own rate. For composers, an existing substantiated fee table is utilized.
