About the Photography Chain Table in the Cultural Sector

The Photography chain table consists of representatives of photographers, clients, experts, and intermediaries active in the sector and aims to improve the labor market position of Dutch photographers. The chain table has conducted research into the economic value of imagery, unpaid activities and billability, copyrights, and reference incomes for self-employed photographers working in the cultural sector. This has led to an agreement on starting rates for novice and experienced photographers working in the cultural sector.

The previously published studies and reports underlying the proposed starting rates can be viewed on the fairPACCT website (Photography Chain Table).
