The Literary Organizations Chain Table hereby presents its fourth fair pay proposal and requests a response from all stakeholders before Saturday, May 16, 2026. Please use the response form. The feedback from the Chain Table based on the responses received will be provided by July 1 at the latest.

The fourth fair pay proposal is based on the report by HTH Research. This proposal includes a calculation model to concretely calculate the fair pay rates per assignment. The documents were created based on individual interviews with stakeholders and experts in the field, and a survey among the literary organizations affiliated with the national network VLAM 21.

The rates in this table constitute an advisory for fees paid to support acts based on venue capacity. The scale was developed by a working group within the fairPACCT Pop Musicians chain table, partly in response to the Fair Pop Pilot 2024. The chain table advises the sector to apply this scale in 2026, after which an evaluation and possible adjustment will follow. Booking agency and festival organizer Friendly Fire will implement this new scale as of January 1, 2026, and invites the sector to follow suit, thereby setting a new and more appropriate standard for support act compensation.
